Raising sons, sometimes a delicate thing. There are signposts along the way. Like finding the first porn on your son’s computer…and it’s a hot babe. (Whew!) Never really worried, but, it’s nice to see your own prejudices confirmed. (Remember that SNL bit where dads were taking a pill to make gay okay?)
When my youngest and I ran across Jeff Dunham and this bit, we both fell over laughing. Thankfully, my son is a great mimic. Whenever I need to hear “Achmed”, I can give him a call, and he will give me an “I’ll kill you!” whenever needed.
I view this as a test of how successful the indoctrination has been that he’s received from twelve years of public schooling. The attempt to create “citizens of the world” in Oregon classrooms has obviously fallen short if both my son and I are able to react to this obvious race/religion baiting with loud guffaws.
Thank-you, Lord, for making me politically incorrect.
